Little Giants Auburn
Our beautiful Auburn centre is located at 33 Cornwall Rd, providing easy access for families. Renovated from an existing centre, is our purpose built, airconditioned, 5 room Early Education Centre with an additional art studio. We are committed to achieving excellence in every area of our service. We believe deeply in the power of learning as the ignition switch to building a culture that lives and breathes this mission. Learning transforms not only the individual but also those around, igniting a spirit of change. A partnership between what we once knew and what we now know begins to influence the way we move forward. It is said that “learning is a consequence of thinking” and as such we cultivate a rich climate of reflective practice and forward thinking.
By creating a diverse environment for children, families and community we strengthen the spirit of dialogue and collaboration. Learning is a cycle of inquiry that is driven by a curiosity and desire. It involves questioning, investigating, researching, evaluating and building on what we already know or do. Learning takes time, patience, persistence and willingness. We strive to inspire the positive foundations and mindset of a life-long learner within every child.
We endeavor to empower our children, our families, our teams and our community in ways that motivate and inspire excellence in early childhood education and care. Please contact the Centre Manager – Adibeh on 96438811 or email her at auburn@littlegiants.edu.au

PARENT INFORMATION
Kids and Poisons In New South Wales, every year thousands of children need medical care for poisoning from products commonly found in and around the home. Most accidental poisonings occur to children younger than five, with children aged one to three at greatest risk.
Why are children more likely to be poisoned? Young children are exploring their world and will put anything in their mouths. They also like to imitate what others do, including taking medications.
What can be poisonous to your child? Medicines, cleaning, laundry, gardening and car products, insecticides, perfumes, paint, plants, insects and many others.
How can you prevent a poisoning?
- Store medicines and chemicals out of sight and reach of children, at least 1.5 metres off the ground and in a locked child resistant container.
- Use medicines and chemicals safely. Follow given instructions and return them to safe storage immediately after use.
- Buy products in child resistant containers and use child resistant locks on cupboards or cabinets that store poisons. You can buy these at many hardware stores.
- Ensure all products are stored in original containers and are clearly labelled. Regularly dispose of unwanted and out of date medicines by taking them to your nearest pharmacy for safe disposal.
- Don't call medicines 'lollies'.
- Check that the plants in your garden are not poisonous
