North Parramatta Early Learning Centre welcomes families joining our service. Our centre provides care, nurture, respect and an educational stimulus program for children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age for up to 46 children a day.
The operating hours are 7.00am to 6.00pm from Monday to Friday. We open all year round except for public holidays and weekends. Our hours are an indication of the modern working lives of families and the need for an excellent childcare facility that we provide.
Our new centre has been developed from extensive experience in the childcare industry and an architectural and interior design background. Offering a modern feel and state of the art facilities we provide a setting that encourages children’s growth and development.
With qualified staff we aim to meet the individual needs of all children. We look forward to a rewarding relationship with you building on a mutual trust between us and your families.
At North Parramatta Early Learning centre we believe that it is our duty to “water the flower for its petals to grow”. In our instance referring to the children and providing them with the resources and experiences to thrive in their development.
We pride our self as being an extension to the children’s home and culture. We have a strong sense of equality between all peoples and all generations. We do our up most to adhere to these values of mutual respect and friendship.
At North Parramatta Early Learning Centre children are provided experience following the principle of the “Emergent Curriculum”. We provide experiences that cater for the individual abilities, needs and interests of each child in different areas of their development.
Or goal is to provide independence and competence in their areas of development. We provide experiences that encourage self-help and social skills, numeracy, literacy, and physical skills. Our objective is to work with each child in developing their strengths and weaknesses. We set short and long term goals for each child allowing them to develop at their own pace.
Most importantly we understand the need for children to be creative to aid the development in the areas of our curriculum. By providing a visual separation of the room and by allocating a specific area to art and craft children are provided maximum stimulus without distraction to do this.
Programming is based on a week to week cycle. As the child elevates to the next room staff prepare them for the skills necessary for schooling. Thus we have an individual school readiness program designed by our centre based on the many years of experiences among our staff.
North Parramatta Early Learning Centre strongly believes that promoting positive outcomes and confidence are the key to children’s successes in their future lives.
