Welcome to the Kinder Land Early Learning Centre.  

The Kinder Land Early Learning Centre is a private Long Day Pre School and is licensed to operate between 7.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. The Centre is licensed for 29 children per day for the age of the children from 3 to 6 year olds. Currently we provide two different hours with different fees, i.e. 7:30am - 6:00pm and 8:00am to 5:00pm.

The Kinder Land Early Learning Centre will be open from 7.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday, except Public Holidays. The Centre will be closed for four weeks over Christmas periods.

At Kinder Land Early Learning Centre, we have chosen to adopt the emergent curriculum approach to programming.  This methods sees the child's focus as primarily important and requires teaching to be creative, fun and stimulating for the teacher and the child.  Emergent curriculum has a potential for empowering your children and developing feelings of self worth, as it takes each child's interest and turns it into a learning process.

We see all children as individual and unique, and understand they come to our centre with their own perceptions and understandings of the world around them. We are accepting and welcoming of all individuals and families regardless of family structure, gender and background.

We believe the first five years of a child's life is very important as this is an age when children are developing rapidly across intellectual, social, emotional and physical areas. Through interest based programs that encourage exploration and experimentation we aim to nurture and promote this development as well as provide the children in our care with a safe and secure environment where there is acceptance, respect, caring and encouragement.

We believe that opportunities for children to play in unhurried and relaxed environment are the best way for children to explore, learn and engage in a meaningful experience with adults and peers. We believe families are the most important people in their child's life and should be involved as much as possible in making decisions about their child's day. Staff respect families as unique and diverse and work in a partnership with them for enhancing children's learning and development.

At the Kinder Land Early Learning Centre the selection of staff is of the utmost importance. Staff are chosen for their formal qualifications, experience in childcare, confidence, enthusiasm, teamwork and supportive, caring nature.

Group Leaders observe the development of children in their care and plan appropriate programmes for individual children both in small groups and with the group as a whole. The activities encourage social, emotional, physical, intellectual and language development of the children. The ratio of teachers and carers to children is governed by Child Care Regulations with which we comply.
