At GloBee Children's Early Learning Centre, we run special learning programs such as letterland to help our children grow and learn.
Letterland stories will be read to the younger children, and the 2 to 6 children will be doing Letterland activities.
Letterland is a cunique, phonics-based approach to teaching reading and spelling. Letterland characters transform plain black letter shapes into child friendly pictograms character who live in an imagery place called Letterland. By translating the full range of dry phonic facts into engaging stories, children are motivated to listen, to think and to learn.
These stories explain letter shapes and soumds and quickly develop into word building, reading and writing. The children will be learning a new Letterland character every two weeks. Children are encourage to bring something from home that begins with the letter they are learning. This will also encourage them to talk about it on group time.
