Hi, my name is Afia.  I am a registered carer with Barnardos Family Day Care Scheme.  I am conveniently located at Auburn and the train station is five minutes away from my home.  I provide the highest quality care and education for children aged from 0 to 5 years.

My family day care is available 7 days per week including emergency care, overnight care and before and after school care.  I am available from 7.00am to 7.00pm (flexible hours).

I have the following qualifications and training:

Senior first aid certificate
Child protection workshop
Effective communication
Programming for Babies

Families in my care are eligible for child care benefits from Centerlink.  I offer children in my care a bilingual experience I speak English, Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi.

My daily routine is

• children arrive
• group time/indoor play
• morning tea
• outdoor play/play dough
• lunchtime
• sleep/rest time
• reading and writing time
• afternoon tea
• free play
• prepare for home
